Celebrating 6 Years of Goldback!

This summer, we’re celebrating six years of Goldback. It was six years ago in July that the very first Goldback was sold at FreedomFest in Las Vegas. Back then, we had a vision that everyone, no matter who they were, could use gold in everyday transactions just like cash. And now, after years of hard work and incredible support from people like you, we’re celebrating some pretty big milestones.

By the Numbers

• Goldback Price: In August 2019, one Goldback was worth $2.25. Today, it’s worth $6.72.
• Goldbacks Produced: We went from 550,000 Goldbacks produced in 2019 to over 34 million today.
• State Series: We started with just 1 state series: Utah. Now we’re close to launching our seventh and eighth states: Oklahoma and Arizona—with more to come!
• Featured Merchants: Today, there are over 2,500 Goldback-accepting businesses.
• Distributor Network: Over 350 distributors are selling and exchanging Goldbacks.
