July Recap: 190 New Merchants and Vernal GILD Kick-Off!

There’s been a lot of buzz around the new Oklahoma series, and that excitement has clearly carried over into our merchant network. July saw huge leaps for the Goldback movement, including the addition of 190 new merchants and the kick-off of our Vernal, Utah GILD chapter!

Merchant Milestones

• 190 New Merchants in July: Last month alone, we added 190 new Goldback-accepting businesses to our network. 
• Over 2,500 Merchants and Counting: With the addition of these new merchants, there are now over 2,500 businesses accepting Goldbacks! 
• Utah Still Leading: Utah, the birthplace of Goldbacks, continues to lead the charge with 754 merchants. 
• Florida’s Rapid Growth: Florida is growing fast, with 405 merchants now on board.
• Oklahoma’s Strong Start: The Oklahoma series hasn’t even launched yet, and they’re already ahead of the game with 105 merchants signed up. 

Vernal GILD Kick-Off

We officially kicked off our second GILD chapter at the Freedom Mercantile in Vernal, Utah! The Freedom Mercantile is a local marketplace where businesses actively accept and trade Goldbacks. We’ve really enjoyed getting to know this community of Goldback enthusiasts, and we’re excited to grow with them through the GILD program!
