Goldback App Update: Version 2 Is Here!

We just rolled out version 2 of the Goldback app, bringing many new features to support both users and businesses.

Here’s what’s new!

Add Your Business From the App

Business owners can now go to the distributor and merchant applications straight from the app. This makes it faster for new businesses to join the Goldback network!

Smarter Search, Better Results

We’ve improved the map and search experience to make finding nearby businesses simpler and more accurate. The new search tools allow you to:

• Filter businesses by category
• Set a search radius

Leave Feedback as We Grow

Goldbacks are easiest to use when the network stays up to date. Version 2 gives users a simple way to report issues directly in the app.

You can now flag:

• A business that no longer accepts or sells Goldbacks
• A business that is no longer in operation
• A business with incorrect information 
• Other issues you come across

These reports help keep listings accurate and improve the experience for everyone.

Download Your Transaction History

Need a record of your activity?

A new download icon in the transactions tab lets you export your full transaction history with a single tap. It’s quick and easy to use for personal records or bookkeeping.

Transactions can also be categorized based on if you were the buyer or the seller in the transaction. 

Calculator

The calculator now includes new verbiage in the change section to make it clear whether change is owed to the buyer or the seller. This replaces the change amount being red or green, which caused some confusion and was not ideal for colorblind users.
